Oh bother. Sure, one may suggest that Williams put the Niner defense in rather “awkward” positions TWICE in this Championship game, but the flat performance from Smith and crew was the true undoing of the 49ers this rainy SF night.
Sigh…such is the lumps of investing emotion into meaningless abstractions. Anyway..I’m still happy for the year they had!
